China Meadows Campground

China Meadows Campground is located on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Visitors enjoy fishing, canoeing and exploring local trails. Several ATV, hiking, biking and horseback riding trails crisscross the area. China Meadows Trailhead is nearby, giving hikers and horseback riders access to the High Uintas. China Meadows has 9 single campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. There is a vault toilet for restroom facilities. China Meadows is a small campground near the trailhead. The campground is timbered and near China Lake. The Uinta Mountains are comprised of beautiful canyons, soaring peaks, pristine lakes, rivers and streams.

Getting there

From Mountain View, WY, take State Rt. 410 south 6.5 miles to Wasatch National Forest sign. Continue straight at this sign onto an oil and gravel road and go 18.5 miles to the "campground" sign at a "Y" intersection. Bear left at the intersection and go 0.7 miles to China Meadows campground.
