R Shaefer Heard Day Use
R Shaefer Heard Day Use Park, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is located on the southern end of West Point Lake, near R. Shaefer Heard Campground. This park offers a variety of recreational opportunities such as hiking/biking trails, boat launching, picnic sites and good access for bank fishing. R Shaefer Heard Day Use is located near the shoreline of West Point Lake with easy access for bank fishing and a boat ramp for access to the lake. R Shaefer Heard Day Use offers two group shelters with two tables, grill, and restrooms each.
