Hurricane Landing Day Use
Hurricane Landing is located near the eastern end of Sardis Lake's southern shoreline. The area offers access to some of the best fishing on Sardis Lake. Outdoor opportunities abound at Sardis Lake. Sardis is consistently ranked as one of the top crappie fishing locations in the country and is also popular for catfish and bass. Hunters will find deer, turkey, squirrel, waterfowl, and rabbit are plentiful in hunting areas around the lake. Sardis Lake also offers beautiful views for sightseeing, and trails for those who love to hike or mountain bike. Hurricane Landing offers boat launching at high and low water levels.

Getting there
From I-22 take the Hwy. 7 south exit at Holly Springs, MS. Follow Hwy. 7 south for approximately 18 miles and turn right onto Lafayette County Road 108 at Abbeville, MS. Follow county road 108 for approximately 4.5 miles to Hurricane Landing Recreation Area. From Hwy. 278 in Oxford, MS take the Hwy. 7 north exit and follow Hwy.
