The Pines Recreation area is located on the Fort Peck Reservoir on the Missouri River in northeastern Montana. Recreation enthusiasts and sportsmen enjoy the beauty of Fort Peck Lake's 1,500 miles of shoreline. A variety of high quality outdoor activities are available, including camping, boating, fishing, hunting, sightseeing and wildlife viewing. Getting there
From Glasgow, travel South on MT Highway 24, turn right on Willow Creek Road (Brown Sign Pines/Bone Trail), travel 8.3 miles, turn left on to Pines Road (Brown sign Pines), travel 9.8 miles, road enters recreation area, information Kiosk with map is on right. Recreation area is serviced by an all-weather access road.
