Lightfoot Shelter
The Lightfoot Shelter is the perfect spot for families to hold a variety of events. It located in Lightfoot Park near campsite 01 and sits near the boat ramp, playground, horseshoe pit and vault restrooms. Pomme de Terre Lake is popular among water skiers and anglers. A number of coves on the lake provide seclusion for ideal fishing conditions, regardless of power boating on other areas of the lake. This shelter has standing grills, 20-amp electrical outlets and six picnic tables which can accommodate 36 people. Parking is north of the shelter. Getting there
From Springfield, MO, go north on Highway 13 to Bolivar, MO. Take Highway 83 northeast to RB Highway. Follow the RB Highway east to the Lightfoot Park entrance.
