South Abutment A

South Outlet Day Use area pavilion overlooks the Outlet Channel and is an excellent location for fishing opportunities. Not only can visitors bank fish, they can also use the boat ramp or handicap accessible pier. Pavilion 470 is located within walking distance of a restroom, playground, and nature trail and can accommodate up to 75 individuals. Playgrounds, hiking trail, and boat ramp in area. Restrooms in area. Boat ramp that has a $5 fee. Great place to view wildlife and various plants and trees. Attractions include the Overlook, Lost Bluff Hiking Trail, and Dogwoods Golf Course.
