Magpie Campground (Ut)
Magpie Campground is located on the banks of the South Fork Ogden River at an elevation of 5,200 feet, just 6 miles from Huntsville, Utah. Campers love the park for its great river access. Tubing and fishing are very popular activities. Campers enjoy fishing and tubing on the South Fork. Several hiking and mountain biking trails begin in the area. This campground offers 8 single sites and 2 double sites. Picnic Tables, Fire rings and vault restrooms are available. The campground is heavily wooded with mostly cottonwood trees and other river-bottom types of vegetation. The South Fork of Ogden River flows adjacent to the campground.

Getting there
From Ogden, Utah travel east on 12th Street through Ogden Canyon. Continue on Highway 39 toward Monte Cristo. The campgrounds are Magpie, Botts, South Fork, Perception Park Family, Upper and Lower Meadows, and Willows in order from west to east.
