White Wolf Campground

There is no drinking water provided here. Restrooms are portable toilets. Staying at White Wolf Campground requires reservations. White Wolf typically opens mid-July and closes mid to late September, depending on the opening of the Tioga Road and related seasonal facility and road work. White Wolf Campground is located off the Tioga Road between Tuolumne Meadows and Crane Flat, approximately an hour from Yosemite Valley at 8,000 feet (2,400 m). The campground is tucked into the forest about a mile from Tioga Road near White Wolf Lodge. Trailheads nearby lead to Lukens and Harden Lakes and the area is popular for those accessing other wilderness destinations.

Getting there

White Wolf Campground is located off the Tioga Road 24 miles west from Tioga Pass, the park’s east entrance (45 minutes). From Yosemite Valley, take the Big Oak Flat Road and Tioga Road 31 miles (approximately 1 hour). From Hwy. 120 west/Big Oak Flat Road, take the Big Oak Flat Road and Tioga Road 31 miles (35 minutes).
