Valley View Group Use

This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service. Valley View Campground has 15 campsites and a 20' x 40' pavilion with grill. There is water for horses.

Getting there

Follow U.S. Highway 81/287 north 11 miles to intersection with FM 1655 in Alvord; turn right and go 8 miles and cross Montague County Line; go ½ mile and turn right on Roberts Road. Follow Roberts and turn left on CR 2690 for 1 mile and turn right on Parker Dairy Road at 100 yards; turn left on CR 2777 and follow to Valley View 1 mile on right.
