Pine Flats Campground

Pine Flats Campground is located next to the Mad River, in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, on the Entiat Ranger District. Visitors have easy access to the Mad River trailhead which connects to several multiple-use trails. There are six campsites available that are all within close proximity to the river. The campground contains two vault toilets, garbage service, and a handpump with potable water. The campground offers great access to trail opportunities for hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers and motorcyclists. The Lower Mad River Trailhead is located within the campground. The Mad River trail is 14-miles long and leads to the upper Mad River meadows area.

Getting there

From Wenatchee, travel north on US-97A (west side of Columbia River) for 14.4 miles to Entiat. Just after the bridge turn left onto Entiat River Road (County Road #19) and travel north 9.5 miles to the community of Ardenvoir. Go beyond the general store and turn left on Mad River Road / Forest Road 5700 and travel 4 miles to Pine Flats Campground.
