Mcbride Campground

McBride Campground is a small campground located along Brooks Ditch, northwest of Halfway, OR. This 10 unit campground has lots of shade, provided by a mixed pine-fir forest. The campground is popular in the summer with local campers and berry pickers, and in the fall for hunters. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. Primary use season is May to September. McBride Campground has 10 sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring and parking space.

Getting there

From Halfway, Oregon head north on the Cornucopia Highway (Main Street) for about 5.7 miles to Carson Lane; Turn left on Carson Lane (road becomes Forest Road 7710 at Carson Grade); Follow Forest Road 7710 for 3.5 miles to Forest Road 77; Turn right on Forest Road 77 and go 1 mile to the campground entrance on left side of road.
