Campsite AtlasDumont Creek Campground
Dumont Creek Campground, located near the confluence of Dumont Creek and the South Umpqua River, is a tranquil escape. A short trail leads to a small, rocky beach on a section of river that's perfect for wading. With just three campsites, you won't have to worry about neighbors (unless you count the wildlife, that is). Hiking. Swimming. Scenic Drive/Sightseeing. . Three tent/trailer sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault Toilet. Open year-round; first come, first serve. Trailers Not Recommended. . Visitors to the Umpqua National Forest are often taken aback by the unique landscapes of southwestern Oregon.

Getting there
From Canyonville, OR, turn off of southeast Main Street onto southeast 3rd Street / OR-227. Continue on OR-227 for approximately 23 miles until reaching the town of Tiller, OR. Turn left onto County Road 46 (National Forest RD 28/South Umpqua RD) and continue for approximately 12 miles. The campground is located on the right side of the road.
