Campsite AtlasSixmile Campground
Campsites are located along the Wild and Scenic Illinois River. There are 2 covered picnic sites across the road from the camping area. There is hiking, swimming and fishing available at the campground. 4 walk-in campsites with picnic tables, and fire pits. No drinking water. 2 vault toilets (within walking distance from campsites). No garbage disposal - Please pack it out. . The area around Six Mile Campground is defined by the remarkably clear, jade-green swimming pools and dramatic rocky shorelines of the Wild and Scenic Illinois River. Nestled in the rugged Siskiyou Mountains, the landscape features unique serpentine soils and forested ridges of Jeffrey pine and Douglas fir.

Fees: Overnight Camping: $10 per site per night; Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per day. NOTE : 50% discount for Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders on a single campsite. This discount does not apply to extra vehicle fees.

Getting there
From Selma, OR, off of Highway 199 is the turn for the Illinois River Road (Forest Road 4301). Take that road approximately 6 miles to the campsites. Just before the Six Mile Day Use Area you will take the spur road to the right to the parking area for the campsites.
