Campsite AtlasSpalding Pond Campground
This primitive camping area is near the historic mill site pond. This pond is stocked with rainbow trout annually by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife. Fishing is best in the spring to early summer. There is a trail around the pond and fishing platform. There is plenty to do at the campground including; non-motorized boating or floating, fishing, swimming and exploring the shoreline. 4 campsites with picnic tables, and fire pits. No drinking water. No toilet. No garbage disposal - Please pack it out. . The Spalding Pond Campground is defined by it's remote mountain setting, dense forest and a freshwater habitat.

Fees: Overnight Camping: $10 per site per night; Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per day. NOTE : 50% discount for Interagency Senior and Access Pass holders on a single campsite. This discount does not apply to extra vehicle fees.

Getting there
From Grants Pass, OR, take Highway 199 (Redwood Highway) at Hayes Hill, turn onto Forest Road 25 go about 8 miles to Forest Road 2524. Turn left and go approximately 5-6 miles.
