Stillwater Campground is located 32 miles from Evanston, Wyoming, just off the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway at an elevation of 8,500 feet. The confluence of the Stillwater Fork and Hayden Fork is just outside the campground, providing great fishing opportunities. The byway cuts through the Uinta Mountains, which are known for their abundant recreational opportunities and scenic beauty. Fly-fishing for cutthroat and brook trout is a very popular activity on both the Stillwater and Hayden Forks. Numerous hiking, biking, horseback and off-road vehicle riding trails crisscross this beautiful region.

Getting there
From Evanston, Wyoming, take Highway 150 south for 32 miles. Stillwater Campground is on the east side of the highway. The picnic area is at the end of the campground road. From Kamas, Utah, take Center Street east. It becomes Highway 150/Mirror Lake Scenic Byway. Travel about 46 miles. Campground is on the east side of the highway.
