Campsite AtlasPoint Amargura Cabin
Point Amargura Cabin offers guests a unique lodging experience on San Fernando Island in southeastern Alaska. The remote site offers a scenic setting for fishing, hunting, beachcombing and wildlife viewing, all within the vicinity of the cabin. The site is accessible by boat or float plane at high tide. Visitors are responsible for their own travel arrangements and safety, and must bring several of their own amenities. The location of the cabin is excellent for anglers. Pink, chum, silver and king salmon are plentiful throughout the year, as well as halibut and bottom fish in the open water. Hunters can take advantage of the long hunting season in the surrounding national forest.

Getting there
Access to Point Amagura Cabin is by boat or float plane at high tide from the Craig-Klawock area, 8 miles west of Craig, and 70 miles from Ketchikan on Point Amargura. Click here for local tide table information. A mooring buoy on the east side of the point is available on first-come, first-served basis.
