Rock Creek Group Camp (Chickasaw)

Rock Creek Group Site is a family-friendly primitive campsite located in a large grassy area across from the Camp Host site. Group parking is available in the gravel lot to the right of the campsite. It is a short walk or drive away from Veteran's Lake and roughly a 10-minute drive to Little Niagara and Travertine Nature Center. Note: While the group site is reservable, all other individual campsites at Rock Creek are available on a first-come first-serve basis. Payment for individual sites can be made at the fee machine located at the entrance to the campground. Swimming opportunities are plentiful with nearby streams and springs.

Fees: Rock Creek Campground only has one reservable site, which is the Group Site located at the entrance of the campground. Individual, first-come first-served campsites in Rock Creek can be purchased at the fee machine located at the entrance. All sites are paid for using debit/credit card only.

Getting there

From I-35, take Exit 55 and drive toward Davis. Once in Davis, go east on Highway 7 to the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. For Rock Creek Campground, Veterans Lake, and Veteran's Lake Pavilion, drive approximately 7 miles (11.2 km) east of Davis to the traffic light on 12th street in the city of Sulphur.
