Rocky Peak Campground

The Rocky Peak Campground is located within Three Peaks Recreation Area, which is one of the largest designated recreation areas in Cedar City, UT. In 2006, Three Peaks was designated as a Special Recreation Management Area. What previously existed as a local open space playground has since been developed into a recreation area to meet the needs of almost any outdoor enthusiast. The site is located 10 miles outside of town at 5,938 feet elevation and sees weather similar to that in Cedar City. Visitors can expect cool temperatures in Spring and Fall with low's during these times approaching or below freezing.

Getting there

From Cedar City, take Main Street (UT-130) north and take the third exit in the roundabout onto Midvalley Road. After 6 miles on Midvalley Road, continue straight and follow the road through Three Peaks Recreation Area. The campground is on the left shortly after the road transitions from pavement to dirt.
