Sycamore Campground

Located on the west side of the Chiricahuas at 6,200 ft. elevation, Sycamore Campground straddles the banks of West Turkey Creek. Turkey Creek is a small perennial stream that cascades into the campground down a series of small waterfalls and through a rocky cleft decorated with wildflowers in spring and summer. NOTE: Black bear area. Store and dispose of all food in bear-proof containers and trash bins, or keep it locked in your vehicle with windows all the way up.

Public land it sits in

On Wilderness Atlas →

This campground sits inside Chiricahua Wilderness.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
