Trujillo Meadows Campground

This campground, adjacent to a meadow and above Trujillo Meadows Reservoir, is composed of two sections - Upper and Lower. The campground has been cleared of most beetle killed trees. Sites 34 through 39 are in an inner loop which are not RV friendly. There is an observation platform across from camping sites 40 and 41 to view a waterfall. Boating and fishing on the reservoir; small motorized and non-motorized watercraft only. Hiking on nearby trails. The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, a historic narrow-gauge railroad, runs nearby. The facilities are large, with 50 campsites, one with parking for a two-car group.

Public land it sits in

On Wilderness Atlas →

Cruces Basin Wilderness begins about 7.9 miles away, and it is the closest of these.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
