Aspen Campground

Aspen Campground is located directly off Highway 89 in the Little Belt Mountains. The 6 campsites are in a canyon carved out by Belt Creek and are usually open Memorial Day weekend through the middle of fall. The largest slot can accommodate a maximum trailer length of 22 feet. Nearby Belt Creek provides excellent fishing opportunities for trout. Please follow Cutthroat Trout mandatory catch and release rules. The Belt Creek Ranger Station is just to the north of the campground, and trails to the east of the ranger station connect to an extensive trail system. Reservations are not available.

This campground sits inside Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
