Little Rock Pond/Green Mountain Loop

The Green Mountain Connector Trail, found across the road and slightly west of the parking lot, heads southwest for 0.6 miles to its junction with the Green Mountain Trail. Follow the blue blazes. From here the trail ascends, following old woods roads for the next mile and leads to the summit of Green Mountain at 2.5 miles. The trail continues along the ridgeline and passes several spur trails that lead to excellent views of the surrounding mountains and Little Rock Pond. Crossing ledges the trail descends steadily to its junction with the Little Rock Pond Loop Trail at the north end of the pond. This trail leads to the Appalachian/Long Trail, in either direction.

Public land it sits in

On Wilderness Atlas →

This campground sits inside Green Mountain and Finger Lakes National Forests.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
