Nestled in a mixed conifer Forest, Lake in the Woods is a 4-acre, man-made lake that is eight feet at its deepest point. The trail cabin located on the site was built in 1907. Enjoy the serenity of the forest by staying near the Lake in the Woods at one of eleven campsites. Fishing. Hiking. Boating, non-motorized. Picnicking. . Vault toilet. Eleven tent/trailer sites. First come, first serve. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Maximum trailer length: 35 feet. . Visitors to the Umpqua National Forest are often taken aback by the unique landscapes of southwestern Oregon.

Getting there
From Roseburg, OR, turn onto OR-138 E/NE Diamond Lake Boulevard. Continue on OR-138 for approximately 16 miles until you reach the Little River Road/NF Road 27 on the right side of the highway. Turn right on to Little River Road/NF Road 27.
