Dry Creek Horse Camp

Nestled among a forest of ponderosa pines and just across a dirt road from Dry Creek, this hidden forest get-away is perfect for horse enthusiasts of any kind. Horse campgrounds have been designed to accommodate people who need to corral their horses. We have a limited number of these kinds of campgrounds and ask, out of courtesy and safety for you and the horses, to consider camping elsewhere if you do not have a horse. The Giddy-Up Go Trailhead is also located just across the road, so access to horse friendly trails does not get much better!

This campground sits inside Ochoco National Forest.

Each unit is published as a centre point and an acreage rather than a boundary, so this section stands it in for a circle of the same area. Whether a campground is inside, and how far it is from one it is outside, are both approximate.
